money and happiness

The saying money cannot buy happiness is plain hypocrisy.   Will you be happy staring at walls and standing somewhere free?   Come on, stupidity, even now, has a fee.

Boredom and Travel

Boredom is taking my life.   The only solution I have got is to travel.   But then, travel requires money. And I have not saved so much in the past months. This solution is just not sustainable.   Then again, should I rather make do with this boredom? ** late posting**

Beautiful Strangers

I fell inlove with a beautiful stranger. Oh well, actually, almost, with two beautiful strangers.   I never thought I would ever appreciate the beauty infrequent to what I have always seen.   Or rather maybe my brain has just dictated to myself that I would like to atleast take pride in dealing with different races.   As you know, Westerners have this f*ck*ng notion that Filipinas, particularly, are always after their bleep bleep green cards or their citizeeship.    Well, I don’t blame Filipino women for opting to do that, but having the right to choose for myself, given the fact that I am still able to feed my own and probably another mouth, I take pride on not being dependent. Therefore, I can still freely choose whoever I would really want. *** late posting. This was supposed to be posted last September 2010**

Me and someone texting. Me: Anung course mo? Boy: Management (His course is pretty unique so itago na lang natin sa kursong Management). You? Me: My undergrad in UP is Tourism but Im taking my MBA in San Beda. Boy: Pwede ba un? Undergrad then MBA agad??? Hahahaha. Kamusta ka naman, koya? Baket ba ako lapitin ng mga ganito? But infairness, mejo may face value naman ito. Pero hindi pa rin. Haha.

Para sa mga MaCall-it

Im not a fan of Lady Gaga. In fact, I dont like her.  I dont like her songs either.  Im not a fan of weirdos who use their weirdness to become popular.  Then, they'll denial that statement of mine.  Ok, as once a marketing practitioner, I know it is something that will sell in the market.  And since it sells to a certain niche, here is something I wanna share to you niches where it sells (whatever I meant here. haha). Telephone   Hello, hello baby you called? I can't hear a thing I have got no service In the club, you see, see Wha-Wha-What did you say, Oh, you're breaking up on me Sorry, I cannot hear you I'm kinda busy. K-kinda busy K-kinda busy Sorry, I cannot hear you, I'm kinda busy. Just a second, It's my favorite song they're gonna play And I cannot text you with A drink in my hand, eh You should've made some plans with me, You knew that I was free. And now you won't stop calling me; I'm kinda busy. Stop callin...

My Kota Kinabalu Adventure

Image
3-days-and-2-nights was quite short for my Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia stint.   It was not farly different from the Philippines aside from the discipline and cleanliness (still not that much, but better compared to ours) of its surroundings.   Malays resemble Filipinos a lot.   Probably they have just got a lot of combinations than us.     I actually didn’t feel like I was in another country. The first Malay I spoke with was the Immigration Officer in the Kota Kinabalu airport. Funny because he was trying to speak in tagalog. He defended that his mother was from Laguna making him half-Pinoy. Ok kuya, I get you.   He was also making bola during our converstaion: Immigration Officer (IO)- Baket ikaw lang? Asan kasama mo? Me: Wala e.   Im alone. IO: Asan asawa mo? Me: Wala pa akong asawa. Im still young. And the IO looked at my passport and saw my birthyear.   IO:Oh, 1982!?!(question mark on his face) Was it just me who laughed hard here? 1982 is st...
