Nth Cebu (super late post)
Had the chance again to visit the heart of Visayas, Cebu, for the nth time. Although this time, I was with the heart of my heart. That being, assured my stay to be if not the best, better than the best.
It was 3 days and 2 nights of pleasure and fun. Although, I may say it was quite short to actually enjoy Cebu. It wasn’t my first time but it was G’s first so I felt I had the responsibility of aside from being a full-time lover, to also be a tour guide. Well, the passé saying which goes “Parang Manila rin” is oh well very true.
Just sharing with you some things we did during our short stay.
Buffet for Php199.00 at Waterfront Hotel. Sulit. Sarap. There.
2. Taxi everywhere, anywhere. Walang tumatanggi.
3.
3. Skywalk at Crowne Regency Hotel- Php550 just for the walk. Cameras are not allowed inside and so they charge people Php230 for each picture. Imagine??? But I tell you, you can’t resist the pictures since those are all you have got. What an abuse of market power?!? Oh well, the walk was actually nice because you get to really walk on the edge of the 38th floor of the tower (Of course with harness (whatever you call that)), you get to shout at the ant-sized pedestrians and queen ant-sized cars strolling the city.
4. Scenic view of Cebu on top of Crowne Regency Hotel- We felt like we lost too much money on the Php550 Skywalk so we just seized our stay on the 38th floor of the hotel. Here, cameras are finally allowed. Yebah!
5. Magellan’s cross- Make sure to take your photo properly. Just sharing with you. Several ladies were selling candles which they will pray on for you. Of course, I can do that by myself so I politely said no. Then one lady said- “Baket, hindi ba kayo katoliko? (Aren’t you Catholics??)”. Ateh! Bitchesa ka rin??? I am here. So, I am a Catholic so don’t ask me to commit a sin before you. Bad bad me. Bad bad you too. Thank you.
So there. I told you we didn’t get to maximize the beauty of Cebu. But just being there with someone more beautiful than the most beautiful city is plainly enough for me.
