Lani's Home

And so Lani, my friend from highschool, was home.

After 2 years, we finally saw each other again. The last time she came home, we, together with another friend of ours, Imana, packed our beach asses and headed to Batangas.  Just so you know, beaching has been a tradition of us 3 everytime Lani comes home.  The supposed plan for this visit was Palawan but beaching can’t be included in our plan for the time being due to several constraints.

So we enjoyed, despite the absence of the beach.

You see, we grew up together. We were together every single day in highschool and several days of our college life.  Shared beds, clothes and even facial washes.  I remember, we even used the same sink—Me washing my face while the other one was puking. Eeeew. And a lot more stories go on. We talk about these over and over again but don’t get really tired of laughing at these same stories. Our boyfriends already have smirks on their face almost saying “ilang beses niyo na pinagusapan yan, natatawa pa rin kayo?” Well, that’s friendship, I guess.

So now, we’re really grown ups. Stories have changed. Priorities are more defined.  No more crush scoops. Instead, boyfriend updates.  No more party plans. Alternatively, wedding plans. No more kisses. Now, intimate stories and baby plans. Different stories we have, but one thing’s for sure, the friendship we have never differs.

‘Til next time bruhs! Maybe, on Lyn’s wedding. Hopefully we’re evened out. (Ahem, Lani)

Love you all.

(Vidz, wag ka na magtampo. I missed one date with you.)
