None-Vacation Vacation

So there was a 4-day vacation. Everybody was out except from me.  I never expected that I'd be alone for this time so then, I was unprepared.  I ended up doing nothing but stare at what technology has provided me. Strained my eyes and bummed myself. Booo! With the 4-day vacation, I had so many time doing self-check and self-assessment.  I was full of plans for the next coming days. And for that, I came up few realizations: 1. Dapat laging may nakahandang Plan C, D at E. 5.  Salamat sa teknolohiya. 6. Buti na lang may Facebook! 7. Sa huli, ikaw pa rin ang tanging makakapagpapaligaya sa sarili mo.  8.  Kapag kumapit sa isipan mo na gusto mo ng pumasok sa opisina uli, masama na talaga ang pagkabagot na nararanasan ...

A Collection of Thoughts

I am sharing with you some of the realizations I have collected from my everyday life encounters.   It may not be so applicable to everyone but I guess there is no harm in re-realizing my realizations. Sorry is just another word -   Ok. Thank you for your “sorry”. Sometimes though, the said word just comes out as an “SOP” but does not really mean the intended purpose of it. I guess the better way is not just by saying such but likewise by not.doing.it.again.ever.   Then “sorry” would serve justice. Acceptance is the first step to change - They say change is the only constant thing in this world.   But for change to happen, acceptance that something must really require change must be existent.   Otherwise, such movement will just be temporary. Commitment is a strong but scary word -   Aha. It has been elusive to many people. Me being included.   If you have questions, then, you cannot commit. So don’t force yourself to fall into the very deep holl...

Couples Fight

According to a recent article in Yahoo, couples fight 2,455 times on average per year. That's roughly 7 times a day.  The article further stated that the top reason contributing to the figure is that the other half did not hear or did not listen to what the other half was saying.  Money, laziness, sex and other petty things came in next. Hmm.. Now I know this is normal.

Clouds

Image
I have this fondness with clouds.  I remember when I was young, I dreamed of travelling and playing on top of those cotton-like pillows in the sky.  I dreamed of having a bed made of it. I even planned of living there. The latter of course is now out of my list. Please. Not yet. :) Now, everytime I travel by plane and get lucky to be on the window seat, I remember my innocent days.  I feel I am back to my innocent and carefree self. I feel like I have finally achieved one dream. And, I feel like I made someone's dream now a reality.  And though I know that some of my dreams about the clouds will never come true, at least, I got the reasons why it aint going to be.  For now, although it may mean rain,  I am glad that clouds simply take my bad mood away. Thank goodness there are clouds.

Envy

The goodness of envy is that it makes you realize that your dreams are still up there.. waiting to be envied.

That Irritation, That Is.

Why do you always have to know that something that smells bad? --- Because it is always good to know that something that irritates you.

3 Months

I understand that everything is just part of the neverending journey we have chosen.  And for the record, it still is making each ride very much worth it. Happy 3rd month of our journey, Baby! I love you.♥

Listening Problem

I confess. I do have a listening problem.  As a result of this dilemma of mine, my attention span is now measuring just 3 meters. Kidding here. But seriously, when in the verge of plainly listening and looking, a lot of things get into my mind and actually ruin my concentration.  Then I miss a lot. Is it maybe because I think too much? Or maybe, I plan too way forward? Or might be because I talk or has the desire to talk a lot?  Actually, even before someone finishes his spiel, my assessments and new line have already been premeditated.  I then tend to pass at, might be small things, but the links to the entire story. Tsk. Tsk. I need help. I need to resolve this, really, immediately.  Good news is that Im already on the first stage of facing this problem-- acknowledging that I actually have it. For now though, this is all I've got. Thoughts keep flooding on my mind and probably, before I know it, Im writing a new story in this same one. ...

Nice Song for Something Not Nice

Heard this song from the radio and from then on, my LSS kept on bugging me. Its a nice song, though. To my friend, Ma. JK, I remembered you when I first heard this. And though I know I was once like you, this I got to tell you: It feels damn GOOD to finally STOP. Good luck on your search for happiness.☺ I Need You Now Lady Antebellum Picture perfect memories, scattered all around the floor. Reaching for the phone cause, I can't fight it any more. And I wonder if I ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time. It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now. I said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now. And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you now. Another shot of whiskey, can't stop looking at the door. Wishing you'd come sweeping in the way you did before. And I wonder if I ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time. It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you ...

Quotes from Grey's Anatomy

I love Grey's Anatomy.  I dont have a favorite Grey's character anymore though because I simply learned to love every one of them in the course of the entirety of the show.  But what I love most about the show are the lines dropped by each character at the end of each scene.  Here are some which lit my brain light (ting ting ting): At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That's how we're made. So, you can waste your lives drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them. But there are some lines... that are way too dangerous to cross. We're adults. When did that happen? And how do we make it stop? That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beat the hell out of never trying. Maybe we like the pain. Maybe we're wired that way. Because without it, I don't know; maybe we just wouldn't fee...

Quotes from RX93.1

Just sharing some of the beautiful quotes I got from Chico Garcia's blog: The rain doesn’t fall on one roof alone. To keep a lamp burning, we have to keep putting oil in it. If all good things come to an end, all bad things will eventually end too. The first step towards getting somewhere, is deciding that you are not going to stay where you are. Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can. Sometimes, the answer is given when we stop questioning. Jamie Sullivan, mandy moore ’s character in “A Walk to Remember”: “Maybe God has a better plan than I have for myself.” Not being able to do everything is no excuse for not doing everything you can. When you confront a problem, you begin to solve it. Most of us are praying for mountains to be removed, when what we really need to pray for is the strength to climb them. It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is a quiet voice that urges you on. Learn from...

(Repost from Multipy) For You Anyway

I guess loneliness is a mere state of mind. Like happiness, as I often say. It’s more often than not, self-inflicted. And I’d rather not inflict myself anymore. This overrated emotion is rather infectious. In time, I know it’ll lead to something incurable. But time sells cure now. And I already bought one. I now hate spending minutes staring on a still wall and land my imagination elsewhere. I find it rather futility to kill time wondering the what-ifs. I’d rather not think of happy thoughts both time and space witnessed on us.  I prefer omitting the I-hope-there-will-be-us, per se. I now submit to this strength I for a fact know would kill me. And I know time would devour me if I still wouldn’t. Not only time, I guess. This is not sadness, per se. It’s rather a realization of sadness which is inexistent anymore. I don’t believe this but I believe those. I don’t believe myself but I believe my mind. I don’t believe this lie but I believe that still there’s time. I’ll miss eve...

(Repost) Some Thoughts In the Desire to End the Day

I suddenly asked myself why fate has molded me to become someone I am right now.  I began to think that it might be a curse to always have a need to understand others. That it might be an oblivious mistake to analyze how everything in this world takes its turn. I suddenly wondered why I always have the urge to be rationally different. But then, why would I question this gift that only a few do possess? Thoughts of mine have been playing around for some time now but nobody has ever tried to catch them with their bare hands.  None around would want to take dirt for once and wash them off with what it could really have.  Nonetheless, I never and will never try to beg anyone for that. For as long as I am individually-worthwhile, I will never falter. I’ll keep my eyes straight.  I’ll listen, but not to everybody. I’ll take chances, but not on every second.  I’ll change, but only for me. Maybe, in the extinction of my kind, just maybe, it could have been a better p...
